Brian Ketterer joined Brent Coon & Associates on July 1, 2006 as the Managing Attorney for the firm's Philadelphia office.

Ketterer began his legal career in Philadelphia in August 2000 joining the Philadelphia District Attorney's office. During that time, Ketterer prosecuted hundreds of felony cases securing numerous convictions in both jury and bench trials. Beginning in the Municipal Court Unit trying DUIs, preliminary hearings and various misdemeanor trials, Ketterer was promoted through the office trying cases in the Juvenile, Felony Waivers and finally, Major Trials Unit. In the Major Trials Unit, he prosecuted gun point robberies, attempted murder, mandatory drug crimes, burglaries, aggravated assaults, and other serious first degree felonies.

After leaving the District Attorney's office in July of 2004, Ketterer joined Provost Umphrey Law Firm, LLP's Philadelphia office where he worked for their Mass Tort Division, specifically on Pharmaceutical litigations such as Prempro (HRT) and FenPhen, both taking and defending depositions of corporate executives, medical/scientific experts and plaintiffs. Additionally, Ketterer worked on various personal injury cases including toxic tort, products liability and chemical exposure cases as well as various.

At Brent Coon & Associates, Ketterer spearheads the firm's efforts in Pharmaceutical litigation such as HRT and OrthoEvra as well as other mass torts.

Before beginning his legal career, Ketterer graduated from DeSales University in 1997 where he graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science and was president of the school's chapter of the national Catholic honor society, Delta, Delta. In May 2000, Ketterer graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law with a J.D. where he was a member of the school's Moot Court Board, placing numerous times in competition for Best Advocate, winning Best Advocate and Best Brief in the Pepperdine Entertainment Law Moot Court Competition in 1999 with his partner Dionne Gordon.

Ketterer remains active in the Philadelphia legal community and is a member of the American Trial Lawyer's Association, the Philadelphia Trial Lawyer's Association and Philadelphia Bar Association.
